Your audio.
Your choice.

Cue Magic is made by SynthOps LLC. This page describes the product website, account service and optional transcription paths. Contact getsupport@synthops.ai about your information or a deletion request.

Visiting the website

We do not install advertising trackers or visitor analytics scripts on these pages. The silent interactive preview uses fictional content, runs in your browser and does not upload audio or record your demo interactions. Our hosting and DNS providers process technical requests to deliver and secure the site. Operational logs can include IP addresses, timestamps and requested paths.

Contacting us

Early-access and support links open your email app. If you send a message, we receive your email address, its contents and any attachments you choose to include. We use them to respond, arrange access and resolve support requests. Please do not email passwords, sign-in codes, full license keys, payment details or private recordings.

Your account and license

Public account sign-in is currently being prepared. When enabled, sign-in uses your email and a short code. The account service processes your verified email, account identifier, license and grant records, registered Mac identifiers and public verification keys, sign-in state and audit records. These support ownership, recovery, access limits and fraud prevention. Your Mac’s installation private key is not sent to the service.

The account page uses browser storage for session tokens and pending sign-in or account requests, allowing recovery after a reload. Sign out to end that browser’s service session and clear its local account state. If the service cannot confirm sign-out, the page offers a retry and a separate option to clear only that browser.

Supabase provides the account database and authentication. Postmark delivers transactional sign-in and recovery email when delivery is enabled. DigitalOcean hosts these pages and bounded background workers; Cloudflare provides DNS. Our current account database and managed audio processing are in the United States.

Your audio in the Mac app

Playback uses the local files and folders you choose. Clip notes, bookmarks, playlist settings and saved transcripts live alongside the media. If those folders are synced with Dropbox, Box or another service, that service handles them according to its own settings. An account sign-out or transcription cancellation does not delete those local files.

Using your own transcription account

Direct builds can send a recording to your configured AssemblyAI account when you request a transcript. The provider key is held in your Mac’s Keychain. Your provider account’s terms, data-use settings and charges apply. This option is separate from a SynthOps managed subscription.

Managed and sponsored transcription

Managed processing is being prepared and is not open to customer audio yet. When available, a request will send the selected audio through private service storage to AssemblyAI. The service will record its source hash, duration, processing status, timed transcript, usage and operational cost. Provider credentials stay on the service; recipients do not receive them.

Configured storage targets remove completed or failed job audio within twenty-four hours, keep active or uncertain audio for at most seven days, and expire unused uploads. Completed results last up to seven days, shortened to twenty-four hours after the app confirms a successful local save. These are processing stores, not backups of your recordings.

After saving a result durably, we request deletion from AssemblyAI and verify the API outcome. A deletion request is not a promise of immediate physical erasure of every provider copy. Confirmed provider retention and data-use settings will be published before customer audio is accepted. We do not currently promise zero retention or a training opt-out for the shared provider account.

For details, see AssemblyAI’s deletion documentation and privacy policy. Submit recordings only when you have the necessary rights and permission from the people concerned.

Retention, backups and requests

Account, license, usage and audit records are retained to recover access, operate the service and resolve billing or security issues. Encrypted database backups can retain historical records for up to eight weeks; audio and transcript objects are not included in that logical backup. Deleting browser storage does not delete server records or a provider subscription.

Email us to request access, correction or deletion. We will verify the account and explain any records that must remain for security, purchase recovery or applicable obligations. You can remove local audio and transcript files yourself. Provider accounts you control must also be managed with that provider.

Purchases and changes

Public checkout is not available yet. Web purchases are planned through Stripe, and App Store purchases through Apple. Their payment and privacy terms will apply to those transactions. We will update this page as those services become available.
