A place for
your next cue.

In-House builds are for people invited by SynthOps: testers, friends, family and special users. Your invitation is separate from a Direct purchase or a Mac App Store purchase.

Activate your invitation

1. Download the In-House edition above, unzip it and move Cue Magic to Applications.
2. Open Cue Magic and open Settings → In-House Access. Paste the app-access code from your invitation and click Activate In-House License while connected to the internet.
3. In Settings → Sponsored Transcription, paste your second code and click Redeem Transcription Promo. The app will show “Unlimited transcription · sponsored by SynthOps”. An app-access code does not automatically include sponsored transcription.
4. Choose a local media folder, download any cloud-only recordings and prepare before your session.

Keep the invitation private

App-access codes can work on multiple installations. They do not use the retail two-Mac limit. Your inviter may supply a separate code for each recipient so individual access can be changed. Do not publish codes, forward a private download without permission or put a code in your audio library.

Renewing access

In-House access is revocable. The app checks online periodically and can hold a signed authorization for up to twenty-four hours. Connect before a session to refresh access. If access expires or is revoked, the app can prevent a new playback session; an already authorized session continues until you explicitly stop or quit.

Sponsored transcription

A separate eligible promo provides unlimited sponsored minutes while it remains active. Recordings can be up to four hours and 1 GiB each; two jobs can run at once across the service. Sponsored service can be paused or revoked. It is not a monthly subscription or a permanent promise of future processing.

Select a downloaded recording and choose Prepare Transcript. The recording uploads for sponsored processing and the finished transcript saves beside your media. Save the finished transcript with your media. Saved transcripts remain usable if the promo ends; a previously accepted job can be recovered without uploading it again.

Keep Cue Magic up to date

Cue Magic → Check for Updates installs signed updates for your In-House edition. Automatic checks are optional. Your license and saved media remain available after updating.

Something missing?

Ask your inviter which build and access are ready for you, or contact SynthOps. You do not need an AssemblyAI key for sponsored In-House transcription. Never share a sign-in code, access token or provider key in a support message.
